Christmas and New Year is always a special time at Vermilion & Cinnabar. This glamorous cutting edge venue adjacent to Sport City, with its unique blend of Thai and Indian cuisine on the one hand and eclectic DJ roster on the other, offers an exotic alternative to the dyed-in-the-wool turkey and dad’s disco festive fare.
Perhaps that’s why the eagerly awaited Vermilion & Cinnabar Christmas 2010 Menu Packages, catering for exclusive private events, are being snapped up so quickly. The quality of the food, using the freshest authentic ingredients, is the obvious draw – matched by well-honed service in stunning surroundings created by celebrated Portuguese designer Miguel Cancio Martins of Buddha Bar fame.
Throughout December DJs are on the decks till 3am every morning at Cinnabar, described by manchesterbars.com as “without doubt the most impressive bar in Manchester, if not the UK” and by City Life recently as “like stepping out of the Tardis into the sense-smacking depths of Thai/Asian sublimity” (Five stars).

Christmas Eve includes Master Chef’s carefully created 6 delectable set menus starting from £20, £29, £39, £49, £69 (& Vegetarian Menu at £20). Please the attached for set menus. A la carte is also available for groups containing fewer than eight people.
Dishes include Ocean Tiger Prawn, Dover Sole, Roast Turkey Breast, Lobster, Scallops, Marinated Beef Tenderloin, Veuve Cliquot Champagne sorbet, Black cherry and champagne chocolate tower, to name a few.
To truly celebrate Christmas Eve all guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne.

New Year's Eve Party at Cinnabar
After dinner, join the party till the 3am at renowned exclusive second floor disco / club; Cinnabar. Open from 9pm till 3am. Dinners have complimentary access to the second floor and will experience the ultimate New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party. Dress code is masks and chic to impress. Jack In The Box DJ and Utopia DJs will be manning the decks till 3am, playing the best of funky house and disco. Plus there’s a choice of 30 decadent cocktails and an extensive selection of wine (including champagne) and spirit list to choose from.

Vermilion, Cinnabar and the exclusive Abacus Gallery are well versed in catering for luxurious private events. Where could be better for that special staff party to impress? Whether it’s a sit down meal, buffet or a drink reception. Our highly professional events team will tailor make your event to suit your every need.
Our function room (capacity of 150) and Cinnabar (capacity 400) are also available for private hire (except Friday and Saturday in December). A secure car park with 200 spaces can cope with the largest of events.
